Check digital designation of camshafts. Codes are beaten out on a neck of the 3rd bearing or on a flange

Inlet camshafts

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Turn a bent shaft by means of a key so that noses of cams of inlet camshafts were directed up.

2. Establish a clamp (2) of the dial measuring instrument with the carving plug (4) on a sealing surface of a cover of a head of the block of cylinders of the checked camshaft of cylinders (1) or (7).
3. Attach the dial measuring instrument (1) with a rod (3) (80 mm) on a clamp (2) so that the rod (3) was established vertically on the hydrocompensator (shooter) with a tightness of 3 mm.
4. Check ease of movement of a rod (3).
5. Establish an arrow the dial measuring instrument (1) in "0".
6. Rotate a bent shaft a key in the direction of rotation of the engine until the measuring instrument (1) does not show raising of the valve on 2 mm. In this situation check "the angle of opening of the inlet valve after VMT" on a damper of tortional fluctuations.

Final camshafts

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Turn a bent shaft by means of a key so that noses of cams of final camshafts were directed up.
2. Establish a clamp (2) of the dial measuring instrument with the carving plug (4) on a sealing surface of a cover of a head of the block of cylinders of the checked camshaft of cylinders (1) or (7).
3. Attach the dial measuring instrument (1) with a rod (3) (80 mm) on a clamp (2) so that the rod (3) was established vertically on the hydrocompensator (shooter) with a tightness of 3 mm.
4. Check ease of movement of a rod (3).
5. Establish an arrow of the measuring instrument (1) in "0".
6. Rotate a bent shaft a key in the direction of rotation of the engine until the measuring instrument does not show raising of the valve on 2 mm. In this situation check "the angle of opening of the final valve before NMT" on a damper of tortional fluctuations.
